Get in Touch

The simplest way to reach Celebrate2004 is by email at mail@celebrate2004.org. We do not have a phone line, an office or a booking system: we are a small online magazine, and email lets the four of us read every message properly. The form on this page simply opens your own email program with our address filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

What makes our day

  • Corrections. If something in an article looks wrong, unclear or out of date, tell us which page and what you noticed. These are always read first.
  • Topic ideas. Plenty of our articles started life in someone's inbox message. General questions such as "what helps a stiff neck at work?" are exactly the kind we like.
  • Feedback. Did a guide help, or did it leave you more puzzled? Both are useful to hear.
  • Technical problems. A broken link, a page that will not load or text that is hard to read on your device.

What we cannot do

We are writers, not health professionals, so we cannot comment on your symptoms, test results, medicines or treatment plans, and we cannot recommend a specific doctor or clinic. For anything personal, please speak to a doctor or pharmacist. If you think you may need urgent care, call your local emergency number rather than emailing us. Our page Health Information, Read Wisely explains why.

Please keep health details out of your message. A general description of the topic is all we need.

What happens next

  1. One of the team reads your email, usually within a few days.
  2. Corrections are checked against current public guidance, and the article is updated if needed.
  3. Topic ideas join our list. We cannot cover everything, but questions that come up often tend to become articles.
  4. We reply when there is something useful to say, normally within about a week.

Other enquiries

For permission to reuse more than a short quote, please email us and mention the article you have in mind. Some articles mention outside businesses, and a mention is never a guarantee about what they offer. How we handle the emails we receive is described in our Privacy Policy, and answers to common questions are collected on Things People Ask.

This opens your email app with the message ready to send to mail@celebrate2004.org. Nothing is stored on this site.

Handy before hitting send

Writing to the team, briefly explained

A few things readers usually want to know before sending us a message.

Can you advise me about my own symptoms?

We are writers rather than health professionals, so personal questions are best taken to a doctor or pharmacist who can examine you.

When does a reply usually arrive?

Messages are usually read within a few days, and we try to answer within about a week.

I think an article contains a mistake. What should I send?

The page address and a sentence on what looks wrong is plenty. Corrections jump to the front of our queue.

Do you take requests for new articles?

Please do. Recurring reader questions are the ones most likely to turn into new guides.

One small request

Keep personal health details out of your email

A general description of your question tells us everything we need to consider an article.

Leaving out names, test results and medicines means there is nothing sensitive sitting in our inbox.
